  9. 1 tbsp cornflour

  12. 2 tbsp mustard oil
  13. 2 chilli
  14. 1 tsp Cummin seeds
  15. 1 tsp coriander seeds
  16. 1/4 tsp fennel seeds
  17. 2 cloves
  18. 1 green and 1black cardamom
  19. 1/2 inch cinnamon
  20. 1 tsp chopped ginger
  21. 1 tsp chopped garlic
  22. 1/2 cup chopped onion
  23. 1/3 cup chopped tomatoes
  24. 5 cashews
  25. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  26. 1 tsp kasmiri mirch powder
  27. 1 tbsp butter
  28. 1/4 tsp garam masala powder

Steps to make to make Non-Fried Soya Kofta Curry

  1. Boil soya granules for 2 minutes with 1/4tsp salt. Drain it very well, then add mashed potatoes, ginger- garlic paste, salt to taste, chili and cornflour mix all together nicely. If needed add some more cornflour. The dough is ready. (Do not add too much cornflour). Make equal lemon size balls.
    Heat appam pan and add 1 drop oil in each section and place kofta balls in it. Cover the PAN and cook each side evenly in low flame. Kofta balls is ready.
    You can also serve it as a snack with any dip.
  2. For gravy heat some mustard oil and splattered cumin seeds, Chilli, cloves, cardamom and cinnamon. Then add ginger- garlic stir it for a minutes and add Cashew and onion cook it until onion changes its color. Then add turmeric powder and Kashmiri mirch powder mix all together and add tomato. Cover the pan and cook all together for 10 minutes. turn off flame.
    When it's cool completely grind it to make a fine paste.
  3. Now heat butter in a pan add prepared paste into pan keep the flame on low and cook for 5 minutes or till oil separate from sides. Then add salt to taste, Garam masala mix all well. Add water, cover the pan and cook for another 5 minutes or until gravy becomes thick.
    Gravy is ready.
  4. Place kofta balls in a plate then add gravy at the time of serving. Do not mix kofta balls and gravy together before serving its makes kofta soggy.
    Serve hot with chapati, Naan puri or rice.
